Warrior Transition is proud to be participating in the Incumbent worker training in cybersecurity that is administered by Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation (AAWDC) as part of the Pathways to CyberSecurity Careers Consortium. The training program is intended to increase the pipeline of skilled cybersecurity professionals with certifications in demand.

Maryland is the national epicenter of cybersecurity activities, but the industry is facing a critical shortage of workers. State-of-the-art job training in cybersecurity and information assurance is available to eligible job seekers to increase the pipeline of qualified workers in this high-demand field. Cybersecurity measures protect and defend information and information systems by ensuring their confidentiality, integrity, and authentication.

The Pathways to CyberSecurity Careers Consortium training for incumbent workers is funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to increase the number of skilled cybersecurity workers employed by Maryland. Incumbent worker training is designed to upgrade cybersecurity skills and certifications of workers currently in the field. Up to 400 employees will receive cybersecurity training through grant funds. Veterans and Wounded Warriors that live in MD are encouraged to apply through this site to see if you are eligible.
